Printing Terms and Guidlines

Our Turn-Around Time

Turn around time is 7-10 business days, beginning once our Print Terms are accepted, artwork has final approval for production, and 50% deposit is received.  This does not include any shipping time.  Please consider, we are closed for national holidays, and these days will not be factored into production time.  Most specialty prints, such as discharge, water-based, and process prints may take a longer-than-normal production time, which may exceed the standard 7-10 day turn around.

Payment Options

A 50% deposit and acceptance of our Print Terms is required for all orders, before being put on the Print Schedule.  The final 50% of order is due before the order is shipped, or may be paid at the time of pick-up.   We accept check, cash, and most major credit cards, we do not accept Paypal.

Pricing, Terms, & Estimates

Pinball Printing reserves the right to change our pricing and terms at any time. Quotes or estimates are valid for 30 days.

Order Minimums

12 piece minimum for orders with maximum of 3 ink colors, per print location. 24 minimum for any orders with over 3 ink colors in any print location. 24 shirt minimum for any specialty prints.  48 Minimum for Tag Printing services.  Due to the labor intensive process of screen printing, Pinball Printnig does not screen print single shirt orders.

Manufacture Stock & Defects

Pinball Printing does not keep blank garments in stock.  We work with distributors around the country to bring you the best styles, colors, and latest fits in a wide range of apparel options.  Situations arise where some styles are out of stock, or suddenly discontinued.  Pinball Printing is not responsible for any production delays due to manufacture shortages and discontinued products.  In the event such problem occurs, the customer will be notified, and a suitable replacement will be suggested. Pinball Printnig will not be held liable for manufacturer defects concerning color, size, or make.

Print Locations & Sizing

Standard print locations and dimensions are a (4×4 inches) left-side chest print and a (13×13 inches) print on back center.  Artwork will be scaled to fit within standard artwork sizing dimensions.  If a specific print size is needed, it is the customer’s responsibility to express specific sizing details.  For prints requested over seams, zippers, pockets, or any otherwise non-flat surface, please consider there will always be print inconsistencies in these areas.  Pinball Printing will not liable be for inconsistent prints, nor issue a refund for such prints. 

Order Submissions

To minimize and eliminate errors with your order, Pinball Printing will not accept:

  • Pictures of an order from a mobile phone, or camera.
  • Unorganized, hand written, orders.
  • Orders submitted through social media sites –  (Facebook, Instagram, etc).

Pinball Printing will not be responsible for delays, or errors, resulting from incorrect order submissions.

Social Media and Sharing

Pinball Printing loves printing new, awesome apparel, for you, the customer. We also love sharing them with the world! It allows us to showcase what skills we have, and even generate buzz about your shirt(s)! We post pictures on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram social media sites – as well as others. If you are uncomfortable with us sharing your shirt on social media sites, please let the sales representative handling your order know. If we are not notified otherwise, we will assume we have full permission to post and share your shirt(s).

​Contract Printing

Pinball Printnig happily offers printing on customer supplied apparel. Restrictions and limitations apply. Pinball Printing will not be held liable for any garments damaged in production, and will not replace them. It is strongly suggested that customers provide extra garments in the event of a misprint. Pinball Printing requires that customers provide a detailed list of garments to be printed including manufacturer, style number, color, size, and quantities of each item to be printed, prior to order confirmation. Failure to provide pertinent information could result in handling charges or errors on your order. Pinball Printnig reserves the right to refuse to print, or may be unable to print, certain types of garments due to their garment construction. Standard Quantity Minimums Apply, we do not offer printing on a single piece of apparel.

Artwork Approval Process

Pinball Printing will send a digital proof for customer approval before we begin production. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that all of the information on the proof is correct. This includes, but is not limited to: spelling, grammar, design errors, and print location. If an error is found after your order has been approved and printed, Pinball Printing will not be held liable for any costs associated with re-printing the order. Pinball Printing assumes no liability for errors in designs approved by the customer. Pinball Printing will not put any orders into production without customer’s final approval.

Artwork Requirements

Artwork submitted for printing must be at 300dpi resolution or higher and scaled to actual print size. Accepted file formats are: PSD, AI, JPEG, PDF. Please consult with our graphics department if more information is needed concerning artwork specifications, or accepted file formats.

Artwork Creation & Ownership

Pinball Printing retains all rights and sole ownership to all artwork created by Pinball Printing. If artwork is created for the customer, costing is attributed to the labor and thought put into the design work, not the ownership and copyrights. Rights to artwork may be purchased at an additional cost. Any artwork or design, created in Pinball Printing’s Studio, using Pinball Printing’s design resources, remains the property of Pinball Printing, not the customer. Any artwork submitted by the customer, and not created by Pinball Printing, remains the property of the customer. Pinball Printing will not reproduce artwork without consent from customer. In the event that Pinball Printing is to imprint at the request of a customer, a likeness of a person, product, logotype, or any other device provided by the customer, said customer hereby represents that said likeness is being produced with the knowledge and consent of the individual or entity having the rights thereto. The customer is 100% responsible for approvals of Copyright, Trademark and Licensing Agreements of artwork.

Specialty Prints

Water Based and Discharge inks print much differently than the standard plastisol inks. They yield a very soft hand, great detail. We only offer these prints on 100% cotton garments. They are unique in their own way, and prints can be inconsistent due to variables such as fabric content and different garment dyes. Pinball Printing is not liable for any minor inconsistencies found in specialty prints, and will not issue a refund for this service.

Tag Printing

Pinball Printnig offers screen printing of your own custom tag inside your shirt. During this process, we do our best to remove the tear-away tags from the manufacturer completely, but will not be held responsible for all minute tag remnants left in the garment. Nor will Pinball Printnig be held responsible for damage incurred to the garment from tag removal. We do not offer removal of sewn-in tags at this time, and do not offer tag printing on garments with sewn-in tags.

Over - Under Runs

Pinball Printing is not liable for any misprints (spoilage) on up to 3% of order. It is an industry standard of 3% failure rate with any order. In an effort to keep spoilage percentages to a minimum, you may find extra garments in your order. If you need exact quantities for your order, it is highly recommended that you order extras to accommodate any spoilage. Pinball Printing is not liable for any spoilage or shortages due to manufacturer defect of any kind.

Order Cancellation & Refunds

In the event that an order is cancelled by a customer, the refund will be subject to the status of the order. The customer may have to pay a restocking fee, or for the garments themselves, depending on the status of said order. If upon receiving your order you find that something is incorrect, and falls within our Print Terms & Guidelines, you must notify us within 72 hours of the delivery of the order. Once we are notified, we will do everything possible handle the issue in a timely manner. Orders returned after 48 hours will be denied.

Shipping Details

Most shipments are shipped via UPS. Pinball Printing will not be responsible for delays for any reason such as carrier errors, weather conditions, etc.  We do not factor shipping charges into our quotes, and shipping time is not factored into our turn-around time.  Shipping charges are based on weight, and delivery time requested.  RUSH delivery entails steep shipping charges.  The customer is responsible for shipping charges, unless otherwise specified. Pinball Printing will not be held liable for packages once they leave our facility.
